New 2020 SEAT Leon
The new 2020 SEAT Leon is coming to Pulman SEAT this year! The new Leon was unveiled in Martorell, at SEAT’s facilities on 28th January, ahead of its public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show this March. To be one of the first to find out about the new Leon, simply sign-up above!
The new SEAT Leon is the first model from SEAT which will be available with both mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The PHEV version of the Leon will offer up to around 38 miles of pure electric range, until the combustion engine kicks in to help power the car.
Although SEAT usually design their new models with their predecessor’s design and build in mind, the new SEAT Leon goes against this rule; every body panel and exterior component is different from the third generation Leon. The new model is nearly 90mm longer than before with 50mm of this inserted into the wheelbase in a bid to improve the rear cabin space. The rear now incorporates a full-width LED headlight alongside the new script ‘Leon’ logo, both of which emphasises the Leon from behind.
The new SEAT Leon explores the next level of connectivity, space and comfort. There’s a new 10” Navi system with touchslider with voice control so it’s now easier than ever to connect and stay connected while on the road. You can download SEAT CONNECT and manage your Leon from either the driver’s seat or from anywhere you are from your smartphone. With SEAT CONNECT you can manage your infotainment services such as maps and music, remotely lock and unlock your car and also find where your car is parked.
Safety isn’t an issue in the new Leon with the Side & Exit Assist systems which use advanced sensors to monitor blind spots when changing lanes or leaving a parking space. The Park Assist system takes over when you want to park with the advanced rear-view camera; you only need to control the pedals as the Leon controls the steering.
